How Do I View Property Dimensions or Lot Size?

Learn where to find property dimensions and lot size

Written by Caitlyn Drybrough

There are several ways to find lot size and property dimensions in AUTOPROP.

Viewing Lot Size

Lot size information is available in the following areas of AUTOPROP:

Summary Sheet

The selected property's lot size is displayed directly on the Summary Sheet.

Properties Table / Load Data

(Available for Paragon and VREB users)

Load property data into the Properties Table to view lot size information for one or multiple properties at once.

Tax Report

(Available for Paragon and VREB users)

Generate a Tax Report in the Property Report under 'Adjust Report Contents' to access lot size details along with other assessment and property information.

Viewing Property Dimensions

Property dimensions are available through the municipality's GIS data, where provided by the local jurisdiction.

Note: Property dimensions are only available where the municipality provides this information through its GIS system. Coverage and data availability may vary by location.

To view property dimensions:

  1. Select the property and create a Property Report.

  2. Click the green Adjust Report Contents button.

  3. Under Municipality GIS Data, enable the Lot Dimensions or Property Dimensions section (availability varies by municipality).

  4. Regenerate the report to view the dimensions.

Example: Vancouver

In municipalities that provide GIS dimension data, the Property Report will display lot measurements and property boundaries.
