Displaying a Potential Land Assembly in iBOMB
iBOMB is a powerful presentation tool for visualizing and showcasing potential land assembly opportunities.
By combining property selection, property data, and interactive mapping, you can create compelling presentations for clients, developers, and stakeholders.
Step 1: Identify a Potential Assembly
Before creating an iBOMB project, identify a group of properties with redevelopment or rezoning potential.
Common methods include:
Land Use Plan analysis
OCP, NCP, or LAP review
Development application research
Zoning analysis
Development prospecting workflows

Step 2: Select the Assembly Properties
Using the map selection tools, select all properties that are part of the proposed assembly.
The selected properties will be highlighted on the map.
Step 3: Load Property Data
To enhance your presentation, load the data you would like displayed in iBOMB.
Open the Properties Table.
Click Load Data.
Select the desired data fields.
Click Update.
Commonly used data points include:
Lot Size
Assessment Values
Sales History
Current Use
Ownership Information
Year Built
The selected information will be available within your iBOMB project.
Step 4: Export to iBOMB
Once your properties and data are ready:
Click Select Action.
Choose Export to iBOMB.
Enter a project name.
Click Export.
Open iBOMB.
Your assembly project is now ready for presentation and customization.
Step 5: Open Your Project
Within iBOMB:
Click Load Project.
Select the project you just exported.
The properties and associated data will load onto the map. You can now click on the properties and the information bubble will appear.
Step 5: Customizing Your Presentation
Add Notes and Additional Information
You can add custom information that appears across all property information windows.
To do this:
Create a new data column by clicking the + sign on the map.
Enter a column name.
Turn Show in bubble on.
Enter property-specific notes where applicable.
Click Add.
This is useful for adding:
Owner notes
Development observations
Marketing comments
Assembly strategies
Control Information Bubble Content
Use Column Display to determine which data fields appear when a property is selected.
You can:
Show data fields
Hide data fields
Simplify information bubbles
Highlight important information
After making changes, click Update View.
Edit Property Information and Upload Photo
You can edit the information displayed and upload photos directly to individual properties.
Click the pencil icon beside the address.
Manually change text if desired.
Remove any lines by clicking the garbage can if desired.
Upload new photo by clicking Choose File.
Choose an image from your computer.
Click Upload Image.
Click Save.
The image will be embedded within the property's information panel.
Color-Code Properties
Color coding can help visualize different property characteristics or assembly strategies.
To apply colors:
Select a Marker Groups.
Choose the data field you want to group by under Grouping Column.
Customize colors for each category by clicking on the color.
Click Save Changes.
Step 7: Save or Export Project
To Save:
Click Save Project.
Or use a screenshot tool to take a picture of your screen.
To Export:
Click Export to KML.
Or click Export to CSV.
Tip: If you save this as a photo to your computer, you can then upload to a Property Report and use as a Cover Image.
