Advanced iBOMB Functions
Enterprise Tier Only
Once you've loaded properties and data into iBOMB, there are a number of advanced tools available to help you manage projects, visualize data, and create more effective presentations.
This guide covers some of the most powerful features available within iBOMB.
Adding Data to Multiple Properties at Once
Instead of opening and editing each property individually, iBOMB allows you to add information across multiple properties from a single screen.
To Add Data in Bulk
Click the + icon on the left side of the map.
Enter a Field Name.
Enter the corresponding value for each property.
Click Add.
The Field Name becomes the column heading for the information you're adding.
Examples
Field Name | Example Value |
Asking Price | $2,500,000 |
Owner Contacted | Yes |
Follow-Up Date | June 15 |
Development Status | Under Review |
This is an efficient way to track project information across large property groups.
Using Marker Groups to Color-Code Properties
Marker Groups allow you to visually organize properties based on specific data fields.
This is particularly useful for:
Land assemblies
Prospecting farms
Development projects
Client presentations
Create Marker Groups
Click Marker Groups.
Select a Grouping Column.
Change color by clicking on the color.
Use dots to assign Value to a color.
Click Save Changes
Exporting Data Back to Excel or KML
Any information added or edited within iBOMB can be exported back into a spreadsheet.
To Export
Click Export to CSV or KML.
Confirm Project Name.
Save the exported file.
All custom fields and edits will be included as additional columns in the spreadsheet.
The exported data can then be used for:
Prospecting databases
Project tracking
Client reports
Internal analysis
Uploading Spreadsheets into iBOMB
You can import property databases directly into iBOMB using CSV or Excel files.
Supported Formats
CSV (.csv)
Excel (.xlsx)
Importing a File
Click Upload XLSX/CSV.
Select your spreadsheet.
Choose the column containing the property identifiers.
The spreadsheet must contain PIDs for iBOMB to accurately locate the properties.
Mapping PIDs
After uploading, select the PID column when prompted.
For Paragon exports, this field is often labeled: P.I.D.
Once mapped, iBOMB will automatically place the properties on the correct parcels.
Combining Multiple Parcels
If multiple properties have been assembled, iBOMB allows you to visually combine them into a single parcel representation.
To Combine Parcels
Remove the unwanted parcel using the Delete (trash can) tool.
Open Edit Layers.
Merge the remaining parcel boundaries as desired.
This can be useful when presenting completed land assemblies or redevelopment opportunities.
Common Uses
Advanced iBOMB features are commonly used for:
