About the Data
This layer is based on Statistics Canada's Standard Geographical Classification (SGC) 2021 and displays the official CMA and CA boundaries used for statistical and geographic reporting purposes. The Regulations of the Act include an exception for any residential property found outside of a Census Metropolitan Area or Census Agglomeration as identified in Statistics Canada’s Standard Geographical Classification 2021.
